You'll learn
All materials and tools provided. A specially curated Beginner's Kit will be available on the day if you want to keep creating at home. Tea and coffee provided - please bring your own lunch.
Accessibility
Step-free lift access and an accessible toilet are available on site. Let us know ahead of time if you have any support needs, including if you'd like to bring a support worker along. For safety reasons, as the workshop involves adhesive, solvent thinner and sharp tools, we're not able to accommodate assistance dogs at this session; please get in touch if this affects you so we can talk through it. This is a safe space for trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming people - discrimination of any kind won't be tolerated.
Getting there
Getting here is easy! Public parking is available just across the road at Sowter Road Car Park. If you're coming by train, Derby Station is about a mile away, and the bus station is even closer at just 0.4 miles. Fancy making a weekend of it? There's a Premier Inn and a Leonardo Hotel both within a 5 minute walk of the venue.
Health & safety
Just a couple of quick things before you book! Please confirm you don't have a latex allergy - and as this workshop involves adhesive and a solvent thinner, it's unfortunately not suitable if you're pregnant or under 18. Masks and gloves are on hand for anyone who'd like them, the space is well ventilated throughout, and we'll talk you through everything on the day. Any questions, just ask!
