Before you submit

Submitting this form does not commit you to a purchase. If your commission is accepted, I will email a form to gather more detailed information about your project idea, and a link to pay a deposit as a sketching fee to begin the process. This is redeemable against the final cost of your order. Initial sketches will be provided within 2 weeks after receiving the deposit, and I offer up to 2 revisions free of charge. To avoid extra fees, please provide as much detail as possible upfront.

I will send you a price for the commission along with your sketch, which is subject to change if any design alterations are made. Depending on the complexity of your design, I may determine that it's necessary to create a sample garment before proceeding with the final piece. This allows us to check the fit, ensure the design is functional, and make any necessary adjustments before committing to the final production. This step helps minimise the risk of having to remake a complicated piece, saving time and resources. Please note that the cost of producing a sample garment will be reflected in the overall price of your commission. The sample will be made to a professional standard in your choice of colours from the stock I have available, and it will be yours to keep.

What to expect

The Atelier takes on a small number of bespoke commissions each year, by invitation and application only. Here's how it works from here.

01 - Application review

I read every application myself. If your project feels like a good fit, I'll follow up by email.

02 - Project form & deposit

If accepted, I'll email a more detailed project form along with a link to pay a deposit as a sketching fee. This is redeemable against the final cost of your order.

03 - Sketches & revisions

Initial sketches are provided within 2 weeks of receiving your deposit, with up to 2 revisions included free of charge. The more detail you give upfront, the fewer extra fees you're likely to encounter.

04 - Pricing

Your price is sent alongside your sketch, and may change if design alterations are made afterward.

05 - Sample garment (if needed)

For more complex designs, I may make a sample first to check fit and function before final production - this reduces the risk of having to remake a piece. The cost is reflected in your overall price, and the sample is made to a professional standard in your choice of available stock colours. It's yours to keep.

06 - Payment

Payment is required up front before production begins.
