A BIT ABOUT ME
I first began experimenting with creating latex fashion at college, and this experimentation continued during my Contour Fashion degree at De Montfort University. This degree supplied me with a solid understanding of lingerie, bodywear, corsetry and swimwear design, pattern drafting and grading. My graduate latex lingerie and corsetry collection was selected to appear on the runway at London Graduate Fashion Week 2013.
After University I began my career working as a pattern cutter at Invincible Rubber in Nottingham, before moving on to a dual manufacturing/pattern cutting role at Latex 101 in 2015. While working at Latex 101 I manufactured garments for several well known international brands including Yummy Gummy Latex, with whom I still enjoy a close working relationship today as a freelancer.
In 2019 I decided it was time to take the plunge and become self employed. I work with brands to create patterns from design sketches, sample and fit test them and then manufacture the final product. I have had the pleasure of working with several brands on different projects including Dea Couture, Tightside Latex, The Latex Store and Dash Latex.
I also enjoy working with individuals to create some one off pieces and I have a few personal creative projects and collaborations coming up. I'm excited to see what the future holds for me!
